Strong sun on your skin, take care.

The sun is at its highest in June. Then your skin can quickly burn, especially in the middle of the day. Even if the weather is not hot. Don't go out in the bright sun between 11am and 3pm. Stay in the shade.

Prepare well

Read what you can do to avoid getting burned. For example:

  • Wear a hat or cap.
  • Use sunscreen with factor 30 or 50.

At the KNMI you can see how high the sun power is. In sunny weather and in cloudy weather. Sun force 5 or higher is strong.
