Making an appointment
You can make an appointment with the practice in several ways. Before making an appointment, please check the information on Home doctor.co.uk or use the tool Should I go to the doctor?. You may already get an answer to your question there.
Online appointment
Via our patient portal you can easily schedule your own appointment at your convenience.
Make appointment by phone
Would you prefer to call? Then you can reach us by phone on working days between 08.00 and 10.30 on 0297 - 32 44 89. Our assistant will help you further and assess with you what care is needed.
Call-back service (for short medical questions)
Do you have a brief medical enquiry (taking less than 5 minutes)? If so, you can book an appointment for the GP’s call-back consultation. This consultation is intended for matters such as enquiries about test results, questions about medication, or symptoms that do not require the GP to see you in person. The receptionist will let you know at what time the GP will call you back. If you haven’t received a call by then, don’t worry: the GP will always call you back on the same day.
Practical information
How long does an appointment take?
A GP appointment takes 10 minutes. During that time, you can one complaint discuss and the GP will have time for physical examination (if necessary). Do you have more complaints or think you need more time? Then the GP will ask you to make an extra appointment
Reason for contact
When making an appointment, the assistant will ask the reason for your contact. The assistant is trained for this purpose and does so to assess the nature and urgency of your query. Like the GP, the assistant is obliged to treat your information confidentially.
Cancelling an appointment
Do you want to cancel the appointment? Please let us know at least 4 hours in advance. Did you miss a time without cancelling? That can happen. If this happens more often, we may charge a fee.
